Lamborghini Unveils Its New Logo
After more than two decades since the last update, Automobili Lamborghini has renewed its historic logo. The restyling is driven by a new strategy that involves adapting the brand’s visual expression to better reflect the “brave”, “unexpected” and “authentic” values of its mission, namely “Driving Humans Beyond”, a concept that translates into the intention to always go beyond the limits, standards and conventions.
Background
Origins of the Logo: The Lamborghini logo was created in 1963 by the company’s founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini, who was inspired by a bullfight in Seville, Spain. The bull symbolizes strength and power.
Design Evolution: The logo has undergone minimal changes since its inception, maintaining the iconic bull and shield design. The bull represents the Taurus zodiac sign of Ferruccio Lamborghini and his passion for bullfighting.
Recent Rebrand: After more than two decades, Lamborghini has introduced a new logo as part of a broader transformation process aimed at sustainability and decarbonization.
The New Logo
Typeface: The logo now sports a broader Lamborghini typeface, which is thinner than its predecessor, reflecting a minimal yet bold aesthetic.
Color Scheme: Black and white remain the primary hues, symbolizing the brand’s clear identity. Yellow, along with the introduction of gold, is used as the accent color.
Bull Symbol: The iconic bull at the center of the logo has been transformed. For the first time, it will stand alone on the company’s digital platforms, separated from the classic shield to give it more prominence.

Direzione Cor Tauri: This is Lamborghini’s roadmap for electrification, leading to the decarbonization of future models.
Hybrid Transition: By the end of 2024, Lamborghini plans to launch its first hybrid model and electrify the entire range, with a goal to reduce CO2 emissions by 50% starting from 2025.
